    Sky Broadband v VM Broadband

Was about to sign up to Sky package 'cos they offered free SKY + box etc, but when I rang VM to cancel my contract they warned me that Sky B/B is crap. The Sky B/B deal is the Sky Lite (which was free) with 2 Gb download.VM said that Sky would be really slow eventhough Sky said that my road should have @ 7MB download speed - obviously VM questioned that. Also my son plays on Xbox 360 quite a lot, and VM said the average Xbox user downloads @ 20gb a month(so we would be charged the extra), and also that we would really suffer if we had more than one device attached to the internet at any one time. Part of the reason we went to Sky was ,cos we can access it in kids bedrooms via the Xbox, but I'm not sure what to do now if Sky B/B is bad.
Could anyoneplease advise if Sky B/B is ok or or VM just playing games.

vm bb is the best bar none m8, the basic sky bb is 2gb per month after that its ?1 per gb per month, sky advertise upto 20mb but you will be lucky to get 8mb of that, where with vm out out of 10mb you will get 9mb+ and 20mb 18+, so unless you pay ?7.50 to sky for unlimited bb you could end up with a hefty bill each month. in short sky bb is pish m8, go with vm bb you wont regret it.

But do not Cardshare or Download stuff on either service you should'nt ! as both services are watched carefully and information handed over to agency involved with provention of piracy.

Sky will terminate your subscription if caught Cardsharing & currently block cetain websites deemed to by trading in Pirate content.

Virgin at the moment lead the way in Anti-piracy of Media including Movies, music & Software.

Both services offer a cheap option, but both have some serious draw-backs & if you use this website then I guess you use your internet for more than it is intended.

I think Sky Broadband might be the only one risky to use for CS.

VM should be fine, maybe until when their own card is shared
