      Thats a bit vague mate!

What channels are you after, UK, European? Do you currently have a sat dish or starting from scratch? Is it a fixed dish, multi-LNB or motorised set-up? Is it just for FTA viewing or do you have subscriptions to any packages? Or are you intending to use CS etc to view channels.Single or multiple tuners? How much you want to spend?

Think most newbies start with a dm500 sd(standard deinition) bout 50 quid or dm 800 hd(high definition) more like 180 quid both clones as there seems to be lots of support on the forum on these.
Guess its whats tickles your fancy unless you got some coin for a vu do or technomate or spiderbox.
Dont think any of them are perfect and you will be always be doing something with them to get the best out of them.
