    new sat box

    Hi all

    I am fairly new to this satellite game and have had a technomate tm5400 super for bout 3 months or so. My point is i would like to go HD could someone tell me which box i should go for with the same features of the tm5400.
    Also which is the cheapest option for me as well thanks.

    Just so you know i have a 90cm motoriesd dish aswell.

    go for a vu+ solo ?299 or vu+ duo ?399 , you cant go wrong m8.

      if you want an HD box with the same menus etc; of your 5400 you can still get the now old TM6800HD for ?189.95 new from pulsat.but be aware they are that price because its an old model with no ethernet connections.I"ve got one and its a good box I"ve had it some time now (and was an old model when I got it)but if you dont want to go linux they are fine.

        Yeah, i agree with dick b, if you want a similar featured box (and cheap enough) the TM6800HD is a good box and has served me well.
        Menus are good, fast box and controls my motor well, great picture too.
        VU+ boxes are doing really well but more expensive.
        Will see how the TM800HD goes.

          Got to go with the VU+ duo, have it running a few weeks now, no hang-ups and picture is superb! All the features of sly+ HD!
          Def worth the money!
