    hi i was wondering how much do you think a satellite installer will charge to set up a 80cm motorised satellite dish thanks calhib

            our local sat fitter charged a mate ?50
            to set the dish and tune the box after
            he had fitted it to the house and got it
            more or less on the arc at 1w

              yes if you can fit it and run cable in, ?50 is what we pay here.

                  the going rate in Lincolnshire to install and set up a motorized dish properly is ?100 - ?120..

                    ?40 pound from a small independant in the yellow pages in bristol.

                    ITgate TGM220 (swapable tuner), Dreambox 800 pro, Dreambox 500c x 2, DBox, Popbox media player.

                      for a fully motorised system??, i fit dish,s on a semi-professional basis and charge ?40 for a fixed and ?80 for a motorised and that includes fully tuned in and demonstration but if you have a basically south facing wall then have a go yourself as the feeling of accomplishment when you see all those channels that your not supposed to be watching is fantastic!!. regards mdt

                          Was meant to say to tune it in as the dish was up but not set right ? and motorised, i think he felt sorry for me as i also had one setting on the box wrong . (longitude was set to default east instead of west)
