    maintain your dish and motor

    do i need to put any dw40 in my tm2600 motor to keep it running and going?

    also i noticed that on the side of my dish where is joins the back some of the paint/coating has come off and its rusty a small bit should i do anything to help it or just leave it?

    I dont know about painting your dish, but to get the motor through winter, I do put some grease on it, I have heard that copper grease is best, but not sure about this.

      ok copper grease where abouts do i put it on the motor i know where it moves just cant seem to see a place that would help the motor?

        leave it mate dont try and oil any moving parts on the motor a smear of grease on the bracket and bolts wont do any harm but leave the drive well alone.
