Need advice on buying a new satellite box

I am looking to buy a satellite box, I have a standard mini sky dish running previous sky subscription which finished. Which box can I use to that box and any point of me using box with c/s .

just need to make up my mind as I have been reading and feel baffled and confused as cable is totally different form my understanding.

HI,

You can use a TM or a Dm with the old idsh but without a valid sub you will only get FTA unless you CS but we can not discuss CS on here. Depends also if you want SD or HD plus personally I would just get a new dish and motor as the choice of Sat's and channels would be a tad better than just astra.

I prefer Dreambox 800HD,using this Box u have to watch all top satellite package like hotbird Astra Sky uk as free.
