Satronics are a bunch of thiefs, the guy Josh Farmer is a c*nt, I have been waiting since may 2010 for a working dreanbox 500s from this c8nt. he has now blocked my email to him and does not reply to anything.
I have dates times and email to prove this for the price of a dm500s his reputation is being ruined, he is a useless spineless thief.

Sorry to hear about that.....Is there nothing you can do, no-one to escalate this to like, if you paid by paypal there is some sort of insurance (within 45 days though)
My question is...is there anything for people that buy stuff on the net that have not received the goods and getting no response from email or phone? Would it do any good reporting it to the ombudsman and see if they can do anything about it or credit card company or anyone else.
I'm having a similar problem with bubblesupplies (posted in cable section).

At the end of the day, nobody wants to get scammed and lose their hard-earned cash......

Seems it's a risk buying online, and thieves see an opportunity to rob you, they will take it, as good as picking your pocket or mugging you on the street. Same thing.

I see this so much on various boards on the net, clothes, dvd's, all kind of things. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is.

Too late for the op, but always ask around before using a company. It's best to pay a little more, but have peace of mind.

I can only echo the same discontent regarding Satronics.

Ordered a 800hd which was advertised on a thursday night as being 'in stock' so paid for next day delivery, expecting the order to be processed and delivered on saturday, or monday at the latest. Spoke to Josh via the online chat facility on the Sunday, asked for change of address to which he agreed confirming it hadnt been dispatched yet and will be with me on Tuesday.

tuesday came and went and no delivery.

By thursday still no box, so again i caught him on the online customer support app and asked to cancel and refund as he failed to honour the purchase and delivery date. He agreed.

Friday morning I get a knock at the door with postie trying to deliver my satronics order that was supposedly cancelled. I refused to sign for it because it was late and I had already re-ordered another box from elsewhere (at greater cost) plus, it was meant to be delivered to my work address and not my home address.

A week later I email to enquire whats happening with my refund and he denies any knowledge of the change of address or cancelling the order. HE states he can offer me a refund but minus the postage plus a 5% 'restocking fee'. This would mean it would cost me over ?20 for his inept customer service.

A series of irate emails passed between us, so I went to moneybookers (his payment agent) and explained. He reiterated the refund offer via them, refusing to budge and accept fault.

That is until I mentioned that by law I was entitled to a full refund in accordance to the distance selling regulations. Not long after mentioning this to moneybookers I get confirmation of a full refund.

Satronics are moody as _ _ _ _ with dodgy customer service, and as already posted, Josh is a lying little weasel who treats his customers with utter contempt. He also doesnt know the law.
