sat installer / tech

hi folks

can anyone recommend me a good sat installer / tech to help me out with an issue on my system.

i got a vu+ solo today and having issues with Horizontal freqs, its doing my head in. my dm500s + spiderboxhd works ok on them.

ive had the issues before with a dm800 and i need to find out the cause asap. i thought a vu+ solo would be fine!

i'm in westhouighton, bolton area.

hi, if your spiderbox and dm500 are ok then the problem is with the vu+. have you checked the sat and lnb settings on the vu+? you could also try re-flashing the vu+ also. regards mdt

ye i have checked and re-checked all settings on it, tried many different settings, still the same. it has to be something i'm missing or theres a problem somewhere in the sat system?

i have flashed it twice with 2 different f/ws aswell

do you have access to a second dish or a friend or relitive so you can rule out your system? cos if the box doesnt work on another dish then its either faulty or you have missed something in the settings list. regards mdt

hi mate

ive brought the box to my mums and it works perfectly. i left the tuner setup as SINGLE - SIMPLE - 28.2E - NO DISEQ

must be a tuner setting or something. as the spiderbox hd and dm500 work fine

so is there any reason why those 2 boxes work and the solo doesnt seem like some freqs on horizontal? the same thing happens on my mates dm800 at my apartment.

wtf!! just brought it home from my mums and it now works here on everything, will see how it goes.
