I dont know your box I"m afraid. but the 1st thing to check is that your f-plugs are not shorted out by stray stands of sheilding wire.also make sure either usals or diseqc1.2 is on in your motor set up menu.I have a tm2600 and the green light should show if power is on to it.
also make sure the lnb and receiver cables are the right way round on the motor

yeah some where there will be provision to either have the diseqc off, diseqc 1.2,or usals if its off there will be no power to the motor.

not exactly cause they wont work if there is no power to the motor.go back to your motor setup menu and look for "diseqc motor or rotor" and next to it you should be able to scroll to "off",diseqc 1.2 or usals if its already set to usals the problem lies else where.

yes motor pole and connectors point down I know some DMs do have motor probs but you will have to wait for one of the experts to help you out with that. check that you have entered your right co-ordinates (lon/lat) and saved them if they are on 00.00 that can cause your sort of problem.I"m signing off now will have a look tomorrow to see how you get on.we all had probs on our 1st setups.

depends where you are in the world, the long and lat seems wrong, do a search for dishpointer.com, enter postcode should give you your long and lat...
                          1 metre dish,tm 5400ci super,tm 1500ci super,dreambox500s(currently a harsh learning curve)..

Your Location Satellite Data Dish Setup Data Latitude: 54.5756?
                            Longitude: -5.9278?

so is not the correct setting i entered into the dreambox?

lat 54.6N and long 5.9W would put you somewhere in or near Belfast if so they are correct. It sounds like a prob with the DM but as said I dont know these boxes.I dont think you will have done any harm to the motor they are pretty sturdy.this post will bump it to the top so perhaps someone with a DM will read it.have you tried either re-flashing the image or trying another one.
also try on the dream box dedicated section its just below the general sat section on forum jump.I"m sorry I havent been more help.
                              regards dick b
