Dreambox Alternative

Hi All
Was thinking of getting my dad a Sat box and was wondering what would be an alternative for same price and same abilities as a dreambox 500s or 600s
I would like it to do the same as my dreambox 600s but was wondering if there were anything a bit cheaper and easy to setup.

For ease its defo a technomate your after. If you want to cardshare then definately not.

Nothing wrong with it,, Its all personal preference, some people like to play with there boxes and some don't..

I've definatley got that bug under my tv I have a HTPC, dreambox 500, darkbox rev 2007, thebox -T, eurovox TX, Freesat HD, 360 Flashed, Xbox Modded, 7.1 amp and an array of wires behind it.

Very hard to come home and clean them up when thats what you do all day, I feel sorry for the gynecologists wife

well i have some beside the tv aswell, the htpc and the sat stuff, the rest is under the tv. Then I wonder why I have big leccy bills. Its just that i really like learning and trying to new things with them and have to say the best thing to learn about has gotta be either the original xbox modding and the dreamboxes.
