can some1 tell me if an old blue sky card will work in my dm500 v8 so i can get freesat?

Nope, blue cards are finished now, you need a current 'white card'.

Though i assume you mean 'Freesat from Sky' and want the card for the few FTV (free but encryted) channels on Sky, i.e Fiver,Five US etc.

'Freesat' has nothing to do with Sky and doesn't require a viewing card!

im confused.... so how do i get freesat with my dm500 and ive also acquired a white sky card but not sure where to go from here :/
