Its pretty obvious now that Satronics Josh is thieving scum....

I made the mistake of purchasing from him without checking out any reviews/comments, very silly i know.....
Anyhow after a fight with moneybookers i recieved the following email from them this morning:

Dear XXX XXXXX,

We would like to inform you that your refund request has been processed and we have credited the amount of GBP 198.22 back to your credit/debit card (VISA, 8xxxxxxxxxxx4321). Depending on your bank, it will take up to 21 days to show on your credit/debit card account statement.

Basically you just need to call them up and tell them that you are in a binding contract with them etc etc..

I ordered from satronics 26days ago, after 8 days and no replies to emails i phoned all the contact numbers satronics have and then the theiving scum called me back. he then LIED TO ME saying that it has been posted via UPS and would be with me monday. He then never again answered the phone to me. after calling UPS and verifying that there was actually no consienment between our postcodes pretended to be a new buyer using the LIVE SUPPORT. he answered and then told me that there was a problem and it had been posted, when i asked for a tracking number he said that "The system will update overnight and I will see it in my account section in the morning". I gave him another chance but was obviously bullshit.

After 14 days I called moneybookers and threatened that I would be calling my bank to do a chargeback. They said that they would give him another 7 days to give them proof of postage. On the PM of day 6 they contacted me saying that he had contacted them and had not being recieving some of their emails due to a technical error, so they gave him another 5 days.

But after 4 weeks finally got my ?200 quid back.

WHAT CAN WE DO TO STOP HIM DOING THIS TO ANYONE ELSE?
Do I go to the police? report to some online watchdog?
Start a informational website (that lists above him in google search) informing other buyers what to expect?

Even though i got my money back I want to see justice for someone trying to rip me off and taking my money for a month...

Any suggestions?

I'm sure cheshire trading standards would be thrilled to know about his actions and the fact he is selling counterfeit goods.. Those Dreamboxes are not Dream Multi Media boxes, more like Chinese clones..

I've got no probs with the clones, but if you want to nail this guy it'll be his downfall more than anything else

I wouldn't say he was taking this off topic, and the question as to if it was a DM800 would be pertinent. Seems this company has been taking orders for clone DM's but are the "middle men" for forwarding from china when saying in stock for next day delivery. Allegedly.

I have to agree though that this man keeps trading and taking money.

opsmonkey & smirnoff_rules - good thinking, will gather all the storeys from unhappy customers, all my correspondance with moneybooks/barclays/satronics and send them the lot tomorrow. Maybe they have the obligation to visit him and question why he is ripping people off online.

When fake concert ticket websites sell goods that never arrive they are visited by the police, I dont see why this is any different.

PS. if anyone wants to contact him, you simply need to call all the numbers with a "NEW" telephone number, when he has probably check it against the 250+ unhappy customers numbers that he is keeping money from, he then calls back....

I come from Germany and I have paid Bank Transfer to Moneybookers account,
I haven't paid with Credit Card like BURGERMASTER , and I didn't use Escrow (receive the good you purchase before payment is released) option.

So , thats the reason wny am I asking what to do, I dont want to make mistake when I call the Moneybookers and lose ?2.000 , I would like that maybe BURGERMASTER tell me details what to say. Thanks to all of you
