Satalite receiver

Is there currently a way of receiving satalite tv for free? I pay for cable tv (minimum package) phone and internet at the moment and see no reason why I shouldn't receive the extra channels with a modified box. I have read a little on card sharing but I am sure there is a better way using the MOSC method, it seems that you can get modified firmware for many cable boxes, but in the satalite community everyone is keeping quiet, am I dreaming or is it possable? If an original smartcard can work with a paired box, then surely it can be emulated?

Theres nothing Free in this world, only the AIR that we breathe. If you want to watch Movies or Football you have to pay for it in some way, either buying a Card , or a Receiver which is able to channel share.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying for something, as I said previously, I allready pay for Cable tv, internet and phone line, I just recieve a bit extra via a modified box. It's just that I am will be losing it soon when they change to Nagravision 3, I don't mind buying a Linux based box if thtat's what I need to do to receive satalite tv but I just think the whole card sharing thing is a bit of an easy way out, I am sure there are people out there that can hack the smart cards, I am sure I seen a hacker on tv who actually hacked these smart cards but was given a job improving security for the cards, if he did it it can be done, like I said previously if a smart card can be made it can be emulated. thanks anyway :-)

N3 affects sat as well as cable m8. CS is the way forward.

I am sure there are people out there that can hack the smart cards, I am sure I seen a hacker on tv who actually hacked these smart cards but was given a job improving security for the cards, if he did it it can be done, like I said previously if a smart card can be made it can be emulated. thanks anyway :-)

id be fairly optimistic of some type of card hack popping up briefly at some point but with the current generation of smartcards it wouldnt last very long, the newer cards are very secure and so many different versions its a non runner hoping for a hack that would last

No such thing as free tv mate, and I wouldnt advise on inbesting into card sharing at the moment as there have been reports on sky cancelling accounts of sky cardsharers with the cards themselves dead. Is cs the future? Probably not...

I am sure this is an old smart card, but the principle is the same, i curently have no sound so i can't hear whats happening in the vid, but surely once a smartcard is hacked it can be paired with a box and modified???
