t & k brackets

ok this might sound stoooopid,but i got some t&k brackets on back
off house from when we had sly,anyway gonna put a scaffold pole
up (about 10'),but i noticed the brackets where wrong ie: the t bracket at top and k bracket at bottom,i thought it was the other
way about and they about 1' apart,also would it matter to put anthor k bracket about 2' from the first k bracket

a third wont harm it, and either order works, down to personal preference.
