Zapped by Vermin

Hi,Cable box has been zapped by Vermin.Thinking of going down the satellite route.Been looking at the Technomate 5200D with a motorized dish.Can anyone tell me what channels I will be able to get,mainly looking for football. Or does anyone have any suggestions Thanks

without a sub or CS you will just get FTA and 39e some footy on there.

CS is the only way go if you want to watch the weekend football. I have lost count of the SAT receivers i have bought over the Years but my latest Receiver has easily to be my best. I have been motorised with a LH 1metre dish with a 18 inch Actuator and i now have bought a PROTEK 9700 ip RECEIVER plus a Router. Channels from 30W to 28E are veiwable. You will not be disapointed if you splashed out on one. The price for both items around ?260.

its not so much what channels the box will open mate , it depends how you are un-encrypting , as mentioned above C/S is probably your best route , but you will need to find what cards your c/s server has (if you pay monthly) to determine what channels the box will open , there isn`t a magic box on sat like there was on cable , meaning any channels you view , will need to be decrypted either at your end , or somebody you are connected too (your pay-server)

ive got a spiderbox and a tm600 on cs, so just to keep my options open (spiderbox down from yesterday afternoon) hence was wondering what the gift had open on the protek.

if he did not go the sat route,he could still get cable going again if he reads the posts.
