if you have 54 degrees set on one side of the mount elevation should as you say be 36 either its mis stamped,(I"ve just checked mine and it does read 36 for 54N) or assembled on the skew(although I wouldnt have thought that possible).if your not tracking with it on 54 re-set on 36, you dont say if you have a prob. -
yh i just noticed it but i havent threw it up yet. ok i do that when i get it up mate if i have a prob cheersif you have 54 degrees set on one side of the mount elevation should as you say be 36 either its mis stamped,(I"ve just checked mine and it does read 36 for 54N) or assembled on the skew(although I wouldnt have thought that possible).if your not tracking with it on 54 re-set on 36, you dont say if you have a prob.Comment

I would say the bracket is bent ~ this will happen if you tighten one side of elevation bolts and not the other side ~ the weight of the dish then distorts the bracket ~ You should bend it back until you have your elevation 54deg and 90-54=36deg on the other side then tighten both sides.!Comment

i did tighten one side first but the dish wasnt on it. i noticed whenever tighten any side it got bent. should i of put the washer on the inside or outside of the bracket? i just put it on the outside under the bolt is that right? but yeah when ever tighten i noticed that side bending should i off tightening both sides together so thay both bend? i already put the dish up do u think this will make a diffence to it tracking the ark?Last edited by mario123; 17 September, 2010, 17:40.Comment

The washers should be on the outside of the bracket under the bolt & nut hexagon heads. Set your latitude to 54 on one side and tighten up that side. Then apply pressure up or down to set the other side to 36, then tighten up that side ~ simples !Comment
