quick dreamup question

hi i am about to flash my dm500s which has got gemini 4.60 installed on it and i am going to flash it with dreamup as i have heard this is the safest way and i am going to flash pli jade 3 on to it i am just wondering if i just click "flash" on dreamup or whether i have to click "flash erase" and then "Flash" thanks calhib

just click FLASH and then another box will show up and then click yes to do a FLASH ERASE to erase the image you just uploaded to the boxes memory

cheerz and i was just wondering after i have selected wich com port and click connect it stays on connection prepared now turn on dreambox after i have turned the dreambox on

Take power cable out completely and reattach the null modem cable, com 1 works for me.
