do i toss acoin

ok gist of it is just got a call off a mate who knows i am trying to get a sat system up and running, anyway he has just give me the offer of a dreambox 500s or a dreambox 518s ,now i am assuming both clones because of them being brand new both are equal priced, do i toss the coin or choose one i got about an hour to decide before he gives them back to the bloke.......cheers in advance

DOnt know about hte DM518... But they 500s you cant go wrong, even if it is a clone.

I have an eagle box which is a clone, and it is dead reliable!!

A DM518 is just a DM500s in different case with an internal PSU...

And yes they're clones, DMM haven't manufactured the DM500s for a couple of years now and never manufactured a DM518.

iirc the 518 does not have a skart socket, also if the power a/c goes in the 500 its easy to get a replacement, but not so easy on the 518 mate
