Can i Just say what a brilliant box the Spider Box is and the Help with getting it set up and questions answered has been out of this world, It has been so fav the best investment ever made, I am new to this sat game but so glad i made the choice and bought the dish and box, Also could i thank everyone on here for the set up help, great forum...

I am using gift, and could you explain a bit more, as i did say i am new to this, I am doing all the updates and things so far and had it set up since august its been out of this world, Every sat more football than i could ever dream of..

i have a starviewHDcombo nearly bought s spiderbox. Explain the gift side of things to me please. I got a dish pinting at astra 28.2 i guess but it does pick up a lot more sats.

the gift is when the box is programmed to open up sats for a specified period of time

Don't expect it to be free....You will end up supporting payservers....Thats my opinion.

Well i have the box and i think to have a fair opinion of the box the service you should buy one i have read a lot of negatives on the box by people who don't have one, I am very new to the sat game and this box has given more then i could ever ask for, It has brill pic qulity i have no complaint what so ever, sometimes people like to be negative and until they try it there opinion will never change, All i can say is The box is the best investment i have made as i was using other providers and paying a lot of money a month... nearly ?100, but no more.

well thats nice to know, So you have one and your not happy with it? if so you are very hard to please, i'm sure there is nothing else out there for the same money which give you as much! I wasn't driecting the last post to you, All i am saying is there is a lot of negative comments about this box, but i do beleave let a lot of the negativaty is from people who are jealous, Or do you also think thats not correct.... I have read 100 of comments and thats how it looks to me. But i am glad you have a spider box and that you are enjoying all the channels that i am enjoying, I am not worried about the box and the gift, My money was well spent and ive enjoyed the box every day since i purchased it.

People arent jealous, they are just giving their opinion on their experience with the box. Some positive, some negative.
I personally had one for 3 months and I found it a mixed bag. The set up was very easy, the picture quality was also very good and i liked the remote. But for me it had a lot of problems with cccam and for that reason i had to sell it on. You can come on here and say you love it, but some peope will also say the opposite. Such is the way.

As a HD box that runs as a client connected to my home server it runs very well indeed...Which is far more reliable than using the server that comes with the gift++
My picure never goes blank on the Siderbox, and i get to open far more channels than you can shake a stick at.
maybe as a suggestion you attempt to run your own server, then when the gift++ either runs out or stops working altogether you will not be reliant on a payserver 100% of the time...Good luck with the reading.

Totally agree with the spider being a good cheap box and easy setup, just bought a protek 9750ip and granted nearly twice as much as a 7000hd but superb box and worth every penny
