Yeah I know but these are more closed, I know its being done but its not open like sat ... Yet

I presume they mean you can record channels that are on the same tp. You can do that with most boxes.

Spot on hooley, just got this email from blade support.

Can anyone use the media player on the custom firmware?
Because it does detect my 2 FAT32 formatted mp3 players but when I press file list on the remote it doesn't show any files it just stays on the A/V tab and cannot go across to the USB tab?
But the files do show in the file manager but I can only move/copy/delete them?
Am I doing something wrong?

Hi guys.
Just bought one of these receivers.
Wonder if you can help.
I have entered a few free servers but never been able to connect to them.
Not sure if i am doing something wrong.
Can anyone email me a blank cs and ccam files so i can edit some servers into them.
I have tried using 9991 and the cs menu comes up fine.
Just i can never connect to a server.
I have downloaded the files that where in the thread earlier, but cannot get them to work.

i have downloaded the channel list / bouquet posted in this thread , how do i load them onto the box i know i have to use the usb like when loading the firmware , is it just the same process?

Does the box only work with FAT32 drives? because FAT32 has a 4gb file limit and most HD movies are larger than that..

Got one of these recently, coming from an old SD dream thing it's like night and day. However I have a problem I'd really appreciate if someone could help me out with...

I've bought a Cyclone HD Media Player with a hard drive on it primarily for playing files, but I kinda hoped I could record from the Blade onto it. When I connect them up via a USB cable the Blade isn't recognising the Hard Drive. I've formatted the Hard drive into 2 partitions but neither device gives me any option for selecting which partition the Blade records too or anything like that.

Any help please? Thanks in advance....

Happy New year, i have left all this years ago, used to work on dream boxes on cable switched to sat now, I got myself Blade 7000, I downloaded all the files from this thread, is there any step by step guide for newbies for downloading and connecting. Also where to get the details for these sharing servers, as I read it seems like there are free ones and ones I got to pay for, any info would be appreciated
