    motor backlash

I have today noticed my technomate 2300 motor has backlash, which as a result i loose 26e and some signal on some sats.

I can move my dish and motor shaft a few mm each way, and the motor is ment to be anti-backlash, awell as it been a new motor.

Are there any motors that dont suffer backlash, maybe the technomate 2600, are metal gears better.

There is an allen key screw on the shaft of mt motor, but i thought backlash was caused by bad gears.

yes that would cause backlash but in the instructions for my motor its tells me that the allen bolts are to tighten up backlash, hopefully it will be the same on yours
