technomate tm5200 or dreambox 500?

im still unsure what box to get as i keep hearing and seeing bad points about the boxes im looking at. I definately want to buy a box for myself with the special channels if you know what i mean and free to air ones without a internet connection if possible - which of the 2 is the better and why?

Unless you use internet dreambox and tm waste of time.
DM500 far better than tm5400, but tm500/600 are linux so are good solid stb's.

thanks for the advice, i bought a dreambox 500 for ?58 free postage of ebay, cheapest i could see everywhere i have looked.
