hi all, can anyone tell me what image to use on a vu+duo im a little new to the vu+, but pretty genned up on the dm 800,any info on this box would be welcome. thanks

I have to agree, the VIX v1.2 (soon to be v1.3) is a very good image for the VU+DUO.
I'm not saying it is the best image around though, just good for the DUO.
It is well supported through the un-official vu-support forum, and the VIX team are very attentive to bugs and updates.

In fact, i suppose updating is one of the VIX image strong points.
After flashing to at least v1.0, later updates are just done from the "images" own menu.
This is good as it means you don't have to reload/flash plug-ins and bouquets etc.

I use an open pli image and have had no problems with it. I had a few crashes with the vix images.
