v+ box problem
hi all...i have a Virgin V+ box which used to be chipped before the nagra 3 encryption a few months ago...i havent actually missed it all that much really and have just been content with watching freeview and using the V+ facility quite often..recording stuff and the live pause and rewind features..as these beauties stayed on when all the STBs went down last may and june..HOWEVER!!...to my shock and horror i came home tonight to find that the V+ feature isnt working..as an ex engineer of many years i have ran all the usual checks..done a diagnostic test..reset the box..scanned everything and i even went to the street cabinet and had a play around in there for ten minutes but to no avail...is there anyone out there that can help..tell me what to do please..or have virgin just put the final nagra 3 nail in all our coffins and taken away the last bit of freebie pleasure available..is this really the end?....HELP!!
