buy & install sky mini dish

can any1 recommed a sky mini dish for me to buy? i think i need zone 2 as im in belfast?
and does any1 have a guide on how to install it pls?

As regards which mini dish to buy there are loads of options on Ebay and all of them do practically the same job you can buy them for around ?30 - ?40 on there including p&p

mario123, i used to use a zone 2 for the caravan around the north coast but now use a zone 1 with no problems + they come with install instruction, hope this helps.

I have a 1m motorised dish as my main dish and then added a second zone 1 dish. It pretty cheap from ebay and I just looked at my neighbours dishes and pointed in the same direction. A little bit of wiggling about and it ws installed.

Use dishpointer.com to get settings/elevation line of sight etc.

ok nps guy just wasnt to sure about the dish skew and lnb skew. but just look at next doors and read the leaflet that comes with it

i got a good deal from maplin. a 46inch dish along with a fta satellite box, with all the fittings and instructions.

for setting up the dish get a compass and use these measurments

swing the dish round so that its at 140 degrees
elevation off the ground has to be at 21 degrees
lnb skew is 14-15 degrees (stand in front of the dish and turn the lnb 15 anti-clockwise)
