theres a few people that have had problems today from what ive herd

ive read this on another forum
"i was told after last weekend tring changed something (did not say what)but for some reason (error) no emm's were sent out to a batch of cards after this update....i asked uk only he said not....but be nice to hear if anyone purchased card from outside uk had this problem..
i to was asked to send my card number for them to send new message signal to card
although the truth will become apparent next weekend i dare say..."

remember theres no english on sky italy anymore and for 1000? for the year makes it a costly card

if you can pick up 4.8 E then i would recommend viasat as its about the same price but has English and many more games

id say give tring another go 1st tho before you rush out and buy a new card

dubber is spot on with viasat much better than sly italia. sly italia was the king but no english or very rare on PL games.

Warning: Commercial use of Tring Card.

Tring cards are only sold by Alsat for domestic use in the UK. Unfortuneatley, some of these cards are now being used for public viewing by Pubs etc. The card is not intended for UK commercial use.

To combat this situation - so Tring do not lose all ther games - a last minute encryption of 3pm's has been put in place. This makes it inconvenient for pubs who are waiting to show the game to paying customers. Unfortuneately, to combat the illegal public viewings, this also affects the domestic users who are not using the card as a business tool.

For a last minute update:

Your card needs to be in a conax cam while on Tring Sports News - at the beginning of the game to receive the update, so you may miss a few minutes of the game. That is better than having ALL the Tring EPL games cancelled because a few pubs are using a domestic card in the UK.

Tring are trying to prevent your cards being rendered useless by the FA for all other EPL games, due to misuse by UK businesses.

Alsat do not authorise the use of any card for commercial use.



To Update your Tring+ Card. Important information
Leave your receiver with your Tring+ card on Tring Sport News overnight, or at least for a mimimum of 3 hours.

Tring today started to update 3000 cards. This will take time as the updates are in a queue.

Failing to receive an update may cause problems with Tring+ channels tomorrow or even next week.
