french tv / tntsat for M6 and TF1

Hi. I'm new to these forums and need some help. I'd like to have access to the main french tv channels, particularly M6 and TF1. I've seen a card on ebay which says it gives access to the channels on TNT Sat. Will this work?

hi and welcome to the forum. firstly fr2/fr3/fr5/fr"O/tmc/tv8/nrj paris/lcp/kto/normandie-tv/vosges-tv/telegrenoble/mirabelle are all available via atlantic bird 3@5west and are free-to-air, then theres m6 swiss which is available on w3a@7east and is also free-to-air. secondly the tntsat package is available via emulator on certain recievers and bis-tv which is a similar package with the french main channels as part of the package is also available (although a few channels are down at the moment). you could go the official card route but make sure that any reciever you consider is 100% certain to read a via3/4 card and recieve entitlement updates or has a ci slot so you could use a official viaccess cam module. all the channels that are available can be recieved with a quality 80cm motorised dish/motor/lnb or say a fixed 65/70cm dish. take your time and wiegh up the pro,s and con,s and then make your choice, if you get stuck then just ask and somebody will help/advise you. regards mdt
