Help with my Dead ?? Sky+ Box.

Hi Everyone,Please can you help,?? I am having a problem with my 5 year old THOMPSON Sky+Box.Yesterday I turned the channel over and now the Tv screen is showing nothing at all from the Sky+box.We have a number of older Sky panasonic boxes (5 plus years old) so we tried them and they are all working fine.My LNB is working fine and the power light on the front of the box is lit up,the remote reciever on the box flashes when the hand remote is operated so unless the psu has more than 1 voltage output or is like a PC wth more than one voltage output I do not know. I am aware that there are a number of service codes activated from the remote and /or the Sky+ box that I know not what they are, and would be gratefull for a process of elimination to follow before I start to remove the lid.

have you tried pressing the TV button on the sky remote..?
