pROBLEM GETTING hdim1

I have a Panasonic Plasma TV. when switch on I used to click the AV button on the remote to get HDMI1 so I could watch sky.
now I can only get sky on AV ,it happend when I connected a
phono cable to the back of the VCR, so I disconnected it and still I get nothing on HDMI1 only the AV channel.
Does anyone know how I can get it to operate on HDMI1 again ?

check your hdmi cable is in and secure,if not other unit will not be detected

the hdmi cable will have flattish plugs at the ends your TV instruction book should show the position of all hdmi sockets.and there is probably only 1 on the sky box .
