    Trying to get any satellite signal

    Hi I just finally got my FTA satellite with the motor mounted up outside and I have a sonicview 8000 receiver and I can't get any signals from the satellites. I set all the angles according to the calculations and I can't seem to get anything. I have like a 39" dish with a single linear LNB. I would like to be able to get any channel by xmas.

          I have just noticed you are in USA.
          No idea what satellite you are after.

              we need more info mate.
              what sats have u been trying to get a signal from?
