we need more information m8. do you have a fixed/motorised dish, which channels are you hoping to recieve, do you have a router/bb connection. although the dm8000 is the best(and most expensive) reciever available it wont open anymore than a dm800/tm800 although from what ive read it is a extremly powerfull and feature packed reciever but imo about ?400 overpriced. regards mdt

the vu+ duo comes in at about the ?400 mark and is an excellent box (probably as near as you can get to the dm8000 for less than half the cost) if we know what you would like from a box and what budget you have we could advise better.

a dm500 is a good budget box it comes in at about ?50 (it has no hd)
the skybox s9 (its nothing to do with sky ) comes in at just under ?100 (this is a hd box )
the dm600 is like a dm500 except its a pvr model and comes in at between ?75 and ?90 ((it has no hd)
the dm800 is a hd and pvr model and comes in at about ?140
the vu+ duo is a twin tuner pvr hd box and comes in at about ?400
and as maniac said if your budget will stretch to it the dm8000 comes in at about ?900
all the above boxes have a lan connection so are suitable for cs ,you will have to google for more info on that.
