Cyfrowy Polsat sets Nagra switch date

The Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat will move over entirely to Kudelski?s Nagravision 3 conditional access system on January 5.

According to Satkurier, all the key channels on the platform, including Polsat and HBO, are already encrypted with Nagravision 3, the latest to switch from Nagravision 2 being TVN services on November 28.

Cyfrowy Polsat is the leading DTH service in Poland, accounting for around 60% of a market currently serving around 3.9 million homes.
