Viasat 4.8e signal probs

Hi all
I am having problems keeping a signal on Viasat 4.8e. I try to watch Viasat Extra PL1 and the signal keeps jumping up and down between 65% and 75%. The BER keeps jumping from 0 - 6 aswell. I have tried fine tuning and moving the dish slightly but no success.
Should I be able to get a signal with 90cm motorised dish, 0.1db LNB and TM600 in the North East of England?

l had this on tring , when into sat settings and manual move dish , moved a little and saved and was fine

Cheers for the quick reply. Cant seem to get it above 74% quality!!!!

The pic just keeps breaking up. I have tried changing the LNB and also fine tuning the dish and LNB skew.

Would anyone suggest trying a different receiver to see if the tuner is more sensitive? I have an openbox that I could try

and the fta on that sat r the same ?

I get 83% quality on 12265h 27500. Not sure if it is only certain TPs that need a bigger dish. Surely I should be able to get it with 90cm dish. Can anyone else in similar location pick this up?

mate if ur getting a signal of 74 % it aint the dish its either ur provider or ur box tuner i have a full viasat package and i have a signal of 56 and mine is perfect

Thanks for the reply owenb. Provider is fine as clear other channels. Seems a tuner problem so gonna try the openbox and see what happens there. Need to get this sorted before the games on Wednesday

yeah if provider is ok then im guessing its a tuner issue mate

either that or try loading a new boquet does sometimes make a difference

Used openbox and got 51% quality but enough to clear picture so looks like (.600 has a poor tuner and needs higher signal strength
