From SD > HD

Have an official Sly SD box and also an official HD one.

Want to upgrade the SD for a HD 3rd party receiver

Can I simply take the card out the SD box and put in the new HD one (after adding boxkey) or do I need to call Sly and get them to add the HD pack on the card too?

yeah ask them to add the hd pack on trouble is mate to activate im pretty sure that they ask the serial of the box ur putting it into so it has to be a valid sky hd box ur putting it into if that amkes sense and as u have one hd box already u cant register ur second card to the first box either

will they 'call' the box then I guess or can I just quote them a serial number of an old box I can get a hold of?

ebay is u r friend for a box mate i bought one for ?25 then put it in a dm8000
