    Inline Booster Issue

I have a DM800 setup and I had issues with four HD Channels. It is known issue and the fix is an inline booster.Over the Xmas I installed an inline booster and these channels were perfect.
The thing is with the inline booster as these channels are perfect also with the booster a number of channels are gone with no signal while others glitch with high BER rate.
Without the booster all others are perfect.
    How is this so?

Is my dish not alligned correctly?

    Any help appreciated

Is that the name of it 'Sloping'.
You say 13-20. I'm guessing my 20db gain is to high.

Also I installed this amp between cables at the back of the reciever. Should I install it at the LNB.

Can someone explain which side goes to the dish and which side goes to the box? It doesnet say in or out but there is an arrow going from left to right. I guess the in of the arrow is the dish and the out of the arrow is the box am I right?

if It is like this IN-LINE AMPLIFIER FOR DM800HD WITH WEAK DISH SIGNAL INC PATCH CABLE - ukdreamshop
The In connects to the LNB at one end and Out to the Reciever at the other. (At the back of your box).
Signal comes from LNB therefor In.

I had this issue with an inline booster and L3 revision tuner on a DM800HD clone.
The booster fixed glitchy HD channels but caused "tune failed" on a load of SD channels, because it swamped the signal levels.
All fixed now by upgrading to a Rev M tuner. Dont even need the booster anymore, all HD channels glitch free and I can recieve all the SD channels that were previously "tune failed" with the in line booster amp.

How did you identify which revision the tuner was in the box

I tried putting one of these at the back of the box, with no joy so i tried it about 2mtrs from the LNB and it worked a treat
