Spider box 9000HD and Digitalb

Hi as a newbe to the site and also to this digital satelite world, I have a question.

There is a roumor that I heard, that if i buy a Spider box I would be able to view the Digital Satelite world that i am intreseted on Digitalb 16* east. if this is true would you please tell/guide me thruogh on how/what to do.

Do i need to buy anything extra apart from the SpiderBox, cam reader cam card or anything, please state.

I appriciate your help in reading and answer.

DigitalB is built into the 'Gift' package.
Internet connection required.
No epl on DigitalB anymore though.

I am also interested to know about Digitalb package, if it is possible to watch Mpeg4/HD channels with DM or Spiderbox.

Spiderbox 9000 & Gift

With the Spiderbox 9000 (Which is a cracking receiver) and the Gift Package activated you will be able to get Digitalb & Tring on 16 East.

The HD channels on DigitALB are not included, although HD4 has appeared. You will get some EPL footy from Tring.

The quality of the channels is adequate, not brilliant. they do pixelate quite a lot on fast action.
You will also be able to get some of the spanish stuff on 19.2, some of the Nova on 13. And probably more pr0n than your eyes could take.

In my opinion it is a good investment. Bearing in mind the "Free TV" bit of satellite TV is an expensive business, and after all it could stop working tomorrow (You pays your money and takes your chance)
If however it is the DigitALB HD Channels you are after you will need to get an official Sub & a KAON HD Box and have them paired up to work together. As far as I am aware once they are paired, the card will only work in that receiver - I do however stand to be corrected if I am wrong.

Exept for the official subscrition and the temporary SpiderBox is there any other way of having the Digitalb and its channels, such as card hacking (softcam) and a reciever software modification or else, and if there is such of way which reciever would suitable for.

Get a Protek 9600ip receiver mate! all you need is a internet conncetion (free server) and you are ready to go.

What do you get?

All the films
All the supersports
Some shqip tv top channel,top news,klan,news 24 and few more but Not all of them. Nothing from the tring tv im afraid.

Plus you get alot of channels from hotbird 13.0 and astra 19.2 (movies,sport,documentary,xxx etc)

In regard to this subject, I noticed today that I couldn't access Big Brother 1 and 2 anymore. Anyone know why? and any way to fix this problem as I only bought the receiver for these channels.

try a re-scan as some frequencies have been shifted around on 16E. I could get both 1&2 last night.
