simple advice needed on which box please

If you want sky + kind of thing you are looking at getting a box with two tuners, this will allow you to record one channel and watch a different one. These type of boxes aren't cheap, a vu+ duo is around 380 pounds.
If you want to be able to just record what you are watching the Tm600 as Manic said is a good reliable box to start off with.

Just my two pence worth is that you can buy a usb tuner to fit in the DB800 which will then give you the option to watch one channle and record at the same time if that is of any use.

Do you think I'm on to a winner?
my only concern is the 80cm dish, do you think this will be ok as I live in the NorthWest.

just looked, they have a contact us option. give them a call and ask how much with 1m or 1.2m, may work out cheaper without paypal fees, or at least the same. just ring and try a haggle.

Great idea, just looked into it a bit and they do have a shop. The same system s there but ith a 1m dish for ?5 extra ?210 all in.
They have a TM500 super also hich is ?217 so teh tm500 super is ?7 more than the TM600. Is the TM500 Super better than the TM600 and if so in what way?

About the 2 boxes no idea, just dont tell them your going to use a motorised dish as they might suspect piracy!

doubt they would care, they would not sell many as fta, boxes designed for piracy as such.

They definately don't care because they are a full system including motorised dish

I've managed to get a 6900hd of ebay so just need to get a motorised dish installed and i'm good to go.
