    Setanta HD

Just wondering if anyone knew much about when Setanta HD is coming? On Setanta's website it says in January 2011 but the article was written in September 2010.

"Setanta Sports may be a distant memory to the UK market, but the sports channel has just launched an HD channel, on the UPC network in Ireland.

Transmissions from Setanta Ireland HD commenced last Saturday (November 27th) with coverage of Manchester United's 7-1 Premier League drubbing of Blackburn Rovers. It is the first indigenous channel in Ireland to broadcast in high definition and is available at no extra cost to UPC subscribers."

UPC is cable though right? UK equivalent of Vermin, was wondering if it was coming to satellite?

It's only on Cable so far

"Setanta Sports HD, a simulcast of Setanta Ireland in high-definition (HD), was added to UPC Ireland on 23 November 2010 with an official launch held four days later. Setanta Sports is the Republic of Ireland's first indigenous broadcaster to use HD. The channel is available on UPC Ireland channel 412, with a launch on satellite planned at a later date"
