just an update,tuner problem not solved with the recovery file,it was worth a shot tho,thanks for sharing the file.
only scans in a handfull of channels and lnbf is dispayed on the front of the reciever

lnbf usually indicates a short circuit on the sat coax, if its connected

disconnect the coax cable and see if lnbf disappears or not

if it does disappear, check your coax cable and connections for damp or a short

still displays LNBF without coax cable connected,i realy think tuner is knackered,thanks for your reply and trying to help me.

from what i understand/have read the ethernet service has been switched off and wont be coming back on... there is a new IKS patch available but for it to work theres a 50 euro charge(payserver) if your box is less than 12 months old there may be something in the pipeline but it to early to say atm, fta and emu/keys for the time being im afraid,regards mdt

read the thread m8, the gift has finshed now so you will have to source your own gift or pay the 50 euro charge for new software/key. regards mdt

heres the"vasiks"patch for use with new system I"ve tested this patch for use with FTA and ucas channels and its fine But I have not (and dont intend) to use the IKS keys so any further info you want should be obtained from http://vasiks-forum.com/forum I warn you now that site is a bit chaotic at the moment.

Theres been reports of blue screen if using patch without key.
Theres no point loading unless you purchase IKS key.

your right of course theres no point loading if you dont want to buy key,I just tried it to see what it was and my box is still working fine,I"ll leave it in to see what happens over time but at the moment all is ok.

I would think so once you have repatched it to a spiderbox
