    What Lnb for 16.0E ?

As everyone here know that 16.0 E has a very weak signal (especially digitalb) just a thought meaby a good lnb should improve the quality for that specific satellite.

At the moment I have a Golden Interstar Universal single LNB 0.2dB with a triax 90cm but I have just order an new triax td110 1.1m Wich i thing should be more then enough.

Does anyone recommend a single lnb universal for this specific satellite?

    Regards.

I'm using a Fortec Star 0.2LNB which cost ?5.. works fine in any weather on all transponders.. The dish size is more key to 16E

different recievers have different calebrations on the tuner which gives you your quality reading. you should be ok for the majorotie of transponders on 16east but not all, saying that the d****alb/t***g transponders are strong. dont worry about the sq readings as these are only a general guide and are not definate. if you have a strong reliable signal in all but the most terrible weather then your set-up is fine. regards mdt

                      Update:
They say the size doesn't matter but let me tell you that it does matter. Haha
The triax td110 1.1m dish did the trick. From 70% went to 96%
You get the picture now .

But now I bought a spiderbox receiver sd 5000 and it shows differnt % around 75% for 16.0E and 80% for Hotbird & astra. What is going on? wich one is right now?

hi m8, the spiderbox recievers seem to have their onboard tuner calibration set to a lower level and this is why you are getting a 20% difference in sq readings. dont worry about it as these readings are only a general guide as ber is much more important when trying to get a stable signal. ive had a stable picture off 21.6e using a 9000hd with only a 15% sq reading on a scpc mpeg2 signal. as long as your picture/sound is ok in all but the worst storms then your system is fine imo. regards mdt
