programmers

hi all,
can anyone explain programmers and cards to me and what can be done with these,
im new to this but have managed images ,cccam etc and would now like to learn about programming cards.

sorry mate your about 7 or 8 years too late, not too much programming cards going on these days

thanks for the reply but im just interested in learning how to do all this so is there anything on 13 or 19 degrees that can have a card programmed for and any tutorials on how to do this.
