gi guys my dish moved in the heavy wind needs somne help now tho i have got me long and lat been up to the dish and manual set it to 0 reset my motor (technomate 2300) and then installed boquet on my dm800 when i go to say bbc 1 on freesat it looks like the motor is turning west when it should go east any ideas guys ? have i put the long/lat in wrong or something?

Owen just have a kook at the stickies in the dreambox section, dont know if you set with or without usals. But all the tuner config settings are there, obviously you enter YOUR long lat.
Zero and reset your motor. That should be it mate
might need a tad of fine tuning.

im not sure smirnoff my long is 51.8451 lat is -2.2158 so im putting in 051.845 north and 002.215 which i aint sure is right when i send dish to 0 in the postioner setup it goes there v odd
been up to it 3 times to reset to 0 just going to load another image now to see if it is something to do with that bloody football is on in a min as well typical

not sure mate in a pickle now , i got dish manually reset to 0 and when i click go to 0 in positioner setup it goes to 0 as i been out to check i just cant get any sat and when i send it to 28.2e for examplie im pretty sure its turning to the west does this sound like i cocked the long lat up mate as never had it before?

if the winds moved it you need to realign on a sat sending the dish to 0 wont do it.send dish to 0.8w or any sat of your choice.then move whole motor/dish assembly L/R til you get your signal back.

also if the dish has moved on the motor spigot its a bit more difficult as that will need re centralising before sorting the rest out.

it looks like the dish is moving the right way now i entered the long and lat in again but put it as south rather than north and its defo going the right way im not too sure what sort of signal i would get in this wind anyways as its major here prob about 30mph maybe worth doing it another day
