satellite installtion help

hi there im looking to set up a little zone 1 dish to pick up 28.2E. I need to know if a satellite, at the base of a 30 degree roof (facing into the roof) would clear the roof and pick up the signal. any help is greatly appreciated

providing the base of the dish is twice the distance away from the height of any obstacle at that level all should be well.

28.2 Satellite Elevation

Go to w*w.dishpointer.c*m ~ enter your postcode ~ select the 28.2 east (astra 2) satellite ~ read off the satellite elevation from your dish to the satellite ~ simples

If your roof is at 30 degrees from the horizontal, you may be able to pick up astra2 in the UK if the centre of your dish is well above the gutter level.
