Blade media bm500s

Hey guys
i have just been given a few blade media bm500s by my supplier to try out , has anyone else used one yet?
also does anyone know where i can get an image for them ?
if its anything like its bigger brother bm700hd 3d
then these should be a great box ,
looks just like a dreambox 500s but made with a lot better quality parts
i have been told that they should take any image ie pli jade , nabilosat etc
i will let you know how i get on just need find an image first

Seen one in action, haven't tried one though. Looks physically like any other OEM 500 clone feels better as you said, (didnt take a look inside though), but with the obvious Blade logo.

FTP password is blade also as opposed to the default dreambox of a DM clone. The one I seen was running PLi Jade without any bother but on a stactic dish so couldnt say what it is like for driving a motor.

im gonna put image on it then will connect it up to my motor and see what we get ,

Probably just a better looking case, probably same quality internal board as any other china clone.

Should take any DM500 clonesafe image

I had a few of these and must admit they are really good. Much better than the other clones that I have tried. More responsive and tuner gives a better picture.

Overall just a better feel to it.

works with the same img that other clone dm500s use. I prefer PliJade 3

Edit - Just to add powers motor 80cm dish no probs.

Had a few on Pli Jade...no probs with turning motor.
Does the job and looks a little better than the DM500.

yeah all working great now have tried with darkstar2 and works motor no problem looks and feels better than the other clones out there plus i have been promised by my supplier that they will take returns if there are any faults

What kind of price can you pick them up at !

Also do them have a faster MHZ and more ram than a standard clone !

I've got a BM7000s and I'm looking at getting a BM500s for my mate as he wants something a bit cheaper and isn't bothered about HD.

What's the best image to use on this for a fixed dish? Can the same images for the DM500s be used on this?

Pli image works best on the Bm500s. Stunning box, no complaints, just it has an adapter charger, similar to a laptop.
