has recent high winds broke dish?

hi lads, can someone give there expert advice please, im currently using a dm800s with a 1metre motorised dish which was installed by some installe, signal was great on most sats and all was well untill the winds came, after the winds went i tried all sats and got no signal,so i new winds had knocked my dish of course, i went up the ladders and had a look and the pole is 100 percent still straight as its well bolted in,the dish is 100 percent straight to the motor still also,so i thought this would be easy then,i used sat metre and found 28.2e ok,lined dish up to it,tried dreambox but only gettin 64 snr, went to positioner setup and tried fine moving dish left and right but signal just got worse, then tried moving dish up and down etc at all angles were i was gettin signal but cant get over 64snr,no matter what angle i try ,up,down ,left ,right etc, 64snr is the highest, checked lmb and that seems if it hasnt moved also, could it be possible the lmb is damaged?if it was damaged would i even pick up a sign? also all cables etc seem ok,havent came loose or nothing, could it be possible i need to change coax wire?the latt and elavation on motor look like they havent been moved also, im just really baffled here,im no pro at this but i mean if i am gettin signal of 64snr and no higher i starting to think my dish or something is broke now even tho all looks ok,any help here wud be brill, really doin my head in,look forward to some replys, thanks

na i doubt the dish is broke mate or the lnb ( possibly tho) i had to get a pro to do mine in the end a few days ago, he said my elevation had moved therefore couldnt get the arc right he tightened a few bolts got his ?3000 sat meter out and within about 2 mins i had 100% on 13e and 85% on 4.8e. without a sat meter u really are on a hiding to nothing mate i tried for hours to do it. it sounds similar to my prob as i could only get 13e and had a 51% signal.

a cheap sat beeper is ideal mate. Just put the station on BBC1 and have the tv close if possible. Then goto www.dishpointer.com and get your line of sight. Once on that site pick a point to focus ure dish on and then move the dish left and the tile back and forth till you hear it sequel via the beeper.

if you dont hear any noise variation then the lnb could be beat but I doubt it. They are quite durable.

It can be a pain some times but keep at it, you will feel better for it and saves you any hassle in future.

totally agree rodbouy a sat meter should do it, i spent 3 days trying to get mine going properly and could still only manage to get 6-% on 19.2e and no other sats

there comes a point where ur brain is just mush and u need help with it and after 2 days i just thought i better ring a pro as u can only fiddle so much plus the mrs was ready to kill me for going on the roof 30 times

            Woman never understand

When I first put my dish up It took me two days of messing about by the time you notice all your silly mistakes, but of course the 1st attempt she replied "So that it broke then? Waste of money"
            Bloody woman.

are you sure the sat meter found 28.2E? cheap sat meters will only tell you your on a sat not which one.It still sounds like your dish/motor shifted on the pole,or the dish is not 100% central on the motor spigot it only has to move a fraction to be out.either way it sounds like you need a complete re-align

Ive just had to adjust mine after the winds, dish only needed lifting, just a few mm, and perfect signal again throughout the arc from 45?E to 45?W, would get 53?E too but there is a tree in the way, the winds will take it down one day(or I will)
