    What Box do you recommend?

    Hi,
    ions
I have been running my dm500 and TM5400 for a couple of years now using my exisiting sky and for Al Jaz card. Im looking to upgrade for box that has HD and will accept C/S in my home network etc. I Cant decide between the Blade, Spider, or Dream box. any feedback appreciated.

    dreambox DM800se OR DM500HD

    Hi Mate

Personally I would go for Dreambox DM500HD or The Dreambox DM800se. I got both of them and I am very pleased with it. But they only got 1 tuner which is a shame if you like to multi record.

The reason why I always recommend buying a dreambox is because there is a lot and a lot of support on great forums like digital kaos for Dreamboxes. if you encounter any problems and you post it on the forum, most likely you will get a reply back within minutes. Also as new technology come and go dreambox developers are always finding new ways to enhance the user experience and make it better then it was yesterday. This means that you are not left with a surplus box in 6 months time.

    Hope this helped m8

I'm thinking of replacing VERMIN BOX as they are putting their prices up yet again. I've never had a DREAM BOX before and am curios about the set up, is it card share or do i connect it to a server. I have to consider the feelings of the old lady, whenever the V+BOX won't change channels she goes nuts. what hiccups if any are there with the dream box.And can you recommend me a supplier. Also Can i connect a external HDD. Thanks in advance for replies.

Thanks for the feedback. Iv decided to go for the dm800 now with rev m tuner. I'm going to update my dish now to a bigger and motorised dish. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. G

Also. You wouldnt need 16 four would do six tops so stop moaning. I have a normal sly dish. With a quad lnb for multi room so you wouldnt need much more coax than that.
