Shady, I was comparing sly brackets to the totally inferior bracket that comes in the Lidl kit.I can say that having been in the engineering and motor trade that the quality of the sly bracket is more than adequate for their 80cm dishes.

you ask for advice on which performs better, solid or mesh.. The results are 4/1 in favour of solid from your poll but you choose a mesh for 1m....!!! Even when told they don't perform as well as solid the bigger the dish gets.. Get the same spec / make dish but solid from the same supplier.. It's ?6 cheaper too

i went for mesh as i have a 1mtr one on a pole and its gets everything and works really well
