Updating sky card

How often would you have to put a sky card from an unconnected box into the box connected to the phone line so that the card updates?

And also does CCcam 2.1.3 update the card for you?

I've never had my sky box plugged in since i got it 10 months ago.. my card has been fine..

CCcam will update it anyway..

if you put your card in your dreambox and use some software like CCcamInfo.php or just type in your dreambox ip address into your web browser with :16001 at the end you can click on entitlements and see when your card is good until, then just put it back in your sky box overnight to update
