vu duo question???

hi guys just wondering if anyone knows if u can use only 1 feed on the vu solo a guy asked me and i was unsure apparently he will be installing a second feed but only has a single lnb at the moment and wanted the duo for the future as he will defo be getting a quad lnb and a second wire to the duo hence didnt want to buy the solo

solo is a single tuner, not sure though if you can use a USB-T tuner to make it dual tuner. you can use USB-T tuner on the duo which willl make it triple tuner. id personally go for the duo, much much better

I have got VU+DUO with just a single LNB feed connected I am waiting for the weather to warm up so I connect my motorised dish to the second feed or tuner. Just tell your friend it is fine with a single feed .

Yep that will work fine, there are a number of options on what you can use the second tuner for (well actually either tuner) and that even includes using it as a loop-out but one of the options is simply 'not connected'.
