Spiderbox with sly dish

Want some advice on the spiderbox 9000 hd.

Been thinking about getting a sat box but with so any boxes around have been getting confused, will the spiderbox work with the current fixed sly dish if so would it clear the channels with the `gift` that comes with it.

If not do I need to get a bigger dish and point it elsewhere.
Cant really change the dish or put up a motorised one where I am.

Also is the spiderbox a linux box like the dreams. Did have a dream 500c years ago.

Is spiderbox a good box to go for or should I get dream 800 or is there a better box with hd.

all you will get with a spiderbox and sky dish is freesat you need a moterised setup to benefit from the spiderbox the gift /service + is spread over many satellites, the spiderbox is a non-linux box, its a good box but you really need a moterised setup to get the best out of it although a fixed dish 80 cm and a twin lnb for 19.2e and 13e will give you quite a few channels

Thanks for the very quick reply it makes things a bit clearer now, as a temperory measure might just buy a dream 500s or preferably a starview combo if I can find one till I can sort out dish issues. I know I`l need to find a server.

Stay away from anything that has starview in the name.

spiderbox are good boxes mate its the users that cant correctly set them up to be honest, im not one of darkmans nut huggers or his friends but the spiderbox imho is a good box and the only reason most ppl dont think it is good is cause they are using it for illegal cs anyways
